SAP Functional Lead SCM
Position Title: SAP Functional Lead – Supply Chain Track (India)

Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled SAP Functional Lead – Supply Chain Track to oversee and manage the supply chain modules within our SAP environment. This role requires expertise in SAP SD (Sales and Distribution), PP (Production Planning), and WM (Warehouse Management) to support, optimize, and drive the successful execution of supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will act as a subject matter expert, collaborating with global teams to deliver innovative solutions, streamline operations, and ensure seamless project execution and support.
Key Responsibilities:
Module Expertise and Support:
- Act as the primary point of contact for the SD, PP, and WM modules, providing expert guidance and hands-on support.
- Analyze and resolve incidents, service requests, and system issues in collaboration with the offshore and onshore teams.
- Provide solutions to optimize business processes within the supply chain, ensuring alignment with best practices and organizational goals.
- Monitor system performance and proactively recommend enhancements for continuous improvement.
Project Management and Delivery:
- Lead the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of SAP solutions within the SD, PP, and WM modules.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver on project milestones and timelines.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications, ensuring accuracy and feasibility.
- Drive successful SAP implementations, upgrades, and rollouts, ensuring seamless integration with other modules and systems.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Partner with business stakeholders and end-users to identify and address requirements, challenges, and opportunities.
- Collaborate with technical teams (ABAP, FIORI, BASIS) for custom developments, system integrations, and performance optimization.
- Maintain open communication with global teams, ensuring alignment of offshore activities with organizational strategies.
- Provide training and documentation to end-users, empowering them to utilize SAP functionality effectively.
Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to SAP best practices, organizational policies, and compliance standards.
- Maintain documentation of system changes, configurations, and solutions for audit and knowledge-sharing purposes.
- Conduct regular reviews to ensure the integrity, security, and accuracy of supply chain-related SAP processes.
Qualifications and Experience:
Education:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 8 years of experience in SAP, with a strong focus on SD, PP, and WM modules.
- Proven track record of leading SAP implementations, enhancements, and support for supply chain processes.
- Experience working in a global team environment with multiple stakeholders.
Technical Skills:
- Deep functional knowledge of SD, PP, and WM modules, including configuration and integration with other SAP modules.
- Hands-on experience with SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with related tools such as SAP Solution Manager and data migration tools.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with technical teams and business stakeholders effectively.
