SAP Enable now Developer
ASSA ABLOY Global Solutions is rolling out SAP S/4HANA across the Division, supported by a structured enablement program using SAP Enable Now (SEN) to enhance user readiness, drive adoption, and deliver high‑quality digital learning experiences.
PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE
Responsible for developing, maintaining, and delivering training materials and enablement content using SAP Enable Now. The SAP Enable Now Developer works closely with the SEN Team, project teams, and functional consultants to create simulations, job aids, and in‑application help assets that support end‑user training and ensure a successful business transformation aligned with standardized processes and best practices.
KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES
Core Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively with the Project Team, Instructional Designers, and SMEs to understand training requirements and develop appropriate learning materials.
- Demonstrate strong understanding of SAP Enable Now tool features, Work Areas and authoring processes.
- Work effectively within Standard Author and Master Author roles and follow organizational governance.
- Develop content using SAP Enable Now, including:
- Simulations (Demo & Practice modes)
- Book Pages
- Quizzes
- Audio files
- Perform Work Area housekeeping activities to maintain structure, naming conventions, version control, and repository hygiene when required.
- Understand and apply SAP Enable Now documentation types to produce relevant training assets.
- Create process documentation and job aids in multiple formats such as PDF, Word, and HTML.
- Test and validate published training content in LMS systems for quality, functionality, and successful deployment.
- Support testing of training libraries, SAP Companion, and in‑application performance support.
- Communicate clearly with stakeholders; be self-driven, motivated, and able to collaborate effectively within a team.
- Demonstrate adaptability, the ability to learn new concepts quickly, and manage multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
- Ensure adherence to project timelines and quality expectations for all enablement deliverables.
SELECTION CRITERIA
Essential:
- 3 – 5 years of hands‑on experience with SAP Enable Now Producer and Manager.
- Experience developing SEN content including simulations, book pages, quizzes, audio files, and job aids.
- Strong understanding of SEN Work Areas, author roles, documentation types, and publishing processes.
- Ability to test published content in LMS systems and troubleshoot issues.
- Strong communication skills in English, proactive attitude, and ability to work independently.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables within project timelines.
- Experience testing or supporting SAP Companion.
Desirable:
- Understanding of SCORM packages and LMS functionality.
- Ability to package and generate SCORM files from SAP Enable Now.
- Working knowledge of SAP Companion.
- Experience with both on‑premise and cloud versions of SAP Enable Now.
- Experience in managing content across multiple languages.
- Exposure to or experience with SAP S/4HANA business processes.
