Profile Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Mobility Engineer with strong expertise in building modern mobile applications using .NET MAUI and the C#/.NET ecosystem.

This role is focused exclusively on developing high-quality, cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS using MAUI. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mobile application architecture, user experience, and performance optimization, along with the ability to deliver robust and scalable mobile solutions.

The candidate is also expected to adopt modern engineering practices, including AI-assisted development and spec-driven development methodologies.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Design and develop cross-platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI for Android and iOS
• Build intuitive, responsive, and high-performance mobile user interfaces
• Implement clean and maintainable architectures such as MVVM or Clean Architecture
• Integrate mobile applications with backend services and RESTful APIs
• Ensure application performance, responsiveness, and scalability across devices
• Optimize applications for performance, memory usage, and battery efficiency
• Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve platform-specific issues
• Write clean, testable, and well-documented code
• Participate in code reviews and follow established engineering best practices
• Collaborate with backend and product teams to deliver end-to-end features

Modern Engineering Expectations

• Hands-on experience or exposure to AI-assisted development tools such as Cursor and GitHub Copilot
• Understanding of spec-driven development methodologies
• Ability to leverage AI tools to improve development efficiency, code quality, and documentation
• Familiarity with context-aware development practices

Required Technical Requirements: (Good to have)

• Strong proficiency in C# and .NET (Core)
• Hands-on experience in mobile application development using .NET MAUI
• Strong understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design
• Experience with XAML and MVVM architecture patterns
• Experience in consuming REST APIs and handling asynchronous programming
• Knowledge of state management and navigation patterns in MAUI
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills for mobile applications
  
  

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience deploying applications to Google Play Store and Apple App Store
• Familiarity with platform-specific features in Android and iOS within MAUI
• Knowledge of secure mobile application development practices
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for mobile app builds and releases
• Experience working in Agile or Scrum environments
  
  

Education and/or Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required, with graduate degree preferred
• 3 to 7 years of relevant experience in mobile application development, with hands-on experience in .NET MAUI
