Summary: The Lead UI Developer Working designs, develops, and implements user interfaces for web applications and websites using front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Works closely with back-end developers, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver high-quality user experiences. Provides guidance, mentoring, and technical leadership to junior developers and team members. Tests and ensures compatibility of UIs across different browsers and platforms.


 

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATION

 

  • A bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in computer science, computer systems, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of relevant experience in Front end Development

 

TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE and/or ABILITIES

 

Skills:

  • Experience with Web application UI.
  • In depth knowledge of HTML5, CSS3 (Less, Sass, Stylus is a plus) , AJAX, JSON skills & solid programming.
  • Detailed Knowledge of ES6, JavaScript, React framework in building UI.
  • Good knowledge of Node, NPM, webpack.
  • Experience building mobile/tablet friendly browser-based applications. (Responsive Web Design
  • Experience on atomic/modular design and its applications
  • Experience with GitHub or similar repository management tools and Jira.
  • Knowledge of Web Accessibility Concepts (WCAG 2.0, 508 Compliance).
  • Understanding of accessibility, performance, and technical SEO best practices and ability to implement these standards in code.
  • Excellent understanding of development concepts and SDLC methodologies.
  • Design Specification Development Unit Testing.
  • Adherence to Software development standards
  • Agile methodologies

 

Soft skills:

  • Strong problem-solving.
  • Experience working in a globally dispersed scrum team.
  • Demonstrated experience in Agile methodologies.
  • Collaboration and engagement skills.
  • Experience in large scale web application delivery.
  • Experience working with Communications and/or Marketing teams and/or Design Team.
  • Demonstrated adaptability, goal orientated and innovative individual.
  • A firm grasp of responsive design and mobile application design.
  • Good team player with leadership skills

Good to Have:

  • AEM working experience.
  • Or any CMS working experience.
