Job Summary: The Senior SharePoint Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining SharePoint-based solutions, as well as creating custom business applications using PowerApps. They bridge the gap between business requirements and technical implementation, ensuring efficient and user-friendly solutions.

 

 

Job Duties & Requirements (included but not limited to the following):

 

SharePoint Development:

  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint-based solutions to meet business needs.
  • Create custom web parts, workflows, and applications using SharePoint frameworks and tools.
  • Integrate SharePoint with other systems and applications using APIs and web services.
  • Customize SharePoint out-of-the-box features to enhance functionality.
  • Migrate and upgrade SharePoint environments to newer versions.
  • Provide ongoing support and maintenance for SharePoint-based applications.

PowerApps Development:

  • Develop custom business applications using PowerApps to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  • Design and create user-friendly interfaces and workflows.
  • Integrate PowerApps with SharePoint, Dynamics 365, and other data sources.
  • Create custom connectors to connect PowerApps to third-party systems.
  • Deploy and manage PowerApps applications across different environments.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology

 

Experience:

  • At least 6-years of applicable programming experience in Sharepoint and PowerApps

 

Technical Knowledge AND/OR Abilities:

Mandatory skillsets/Expertise:

 

  • SharePoint Online Site Administration knowledge/expertise for the following but not limited to
  • SharePoint Site Architecture including but not limited to lists, libraries, core/default lists, etc.
  • Site Settings administration for Regional, Site Content setup/administration, List       Template setup, and Themes
  • Experience providing access to Site owners, members, visitors and knowledge on creating custom SharePoint groups and permission levels as needed
  • PowerApps / PowerPlatform design and development expertise needed
  • Knowledge and experience of PowerPlatform environment administration and understanding of the Admin PowerPlatform page features
  • Experience creating Canvas PowerApps from SharePoint “Customize Form” option
  • Experience with using Forms and adding fields and methods/properties to all the fields added to the forms
  • Experience with setting up data connections to SharePoint lists or setting up Custom Connectors to our custom .NET ASMX web services

 

Additional Skillsets Required

 

  • Experience with creating and/or relating PowerAutomate flows to the PowerApps forms as needed for more automation and functionality outside capabilities from PowerApps methods and properties
  • Experience with Export/Import steps needed for migrating the PowerApps and related PowerApps triggered flows from Personal to the Dev and Prod managed environments

 

Optional Skills

  • .NET ASMX Visual Studio Development C#
