Lead Integrations Developer

 

Summary:
The Lead Integrations Developer will participate in technical design, development and solution implementation for Opening Solutions Americas. This individual will be responsible to participate as part of a team with technical design and perform implementation on integration projects using Azure APIM. They will ensure that the organization extracts maximum value from through the use of productivity measurement and best practice standardization. They will assist internal partners in the identification and resolution of integration related problems, requiring the ability to translate complex technology into understandable terms.  This position will work closely with the shared services teams, ASSA ABLOY business units and other team leads within IT.

 

Summary of Responsibilities:

Our ERP solution is based on JD Edwards EnterpriseOne (JDE E1) and is a customized solution delivering ERP processes across our IT landscape.Here are the common job requirements:

  • Translate business requirements into secure, scalable, and high‑performing Azure API Management (APIM) solutions
  • Analyze, design, and advise on API development patterns and practices aligned with API‑led architecture using Microsoft Azure Integration Services and related cloud components
  • Implement and manage API policies including security, throttling, caching, and transformation to ensure compliance and performance
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize API performance and reliability to maintain seamless integration and user experience
  • Stay current with the latest Azure APIM features and industry best practices to continuously improve solution design and delivery
  • Document API designs, configurations, and operational procedures for knowledge sharing and governance
  • Provide guidance and collaborate with external third parties to enable successful API integrations
  • Identify and recommend opportunities for integration services leveraging expertise in cloud and middleware technologies.
  • Hands‑on experience with Dell Boomi, SSIS, and OpenAPI solutions considered an advantage
  • Basic knowledge of ERP systems to support end‑to‑end business process integration
  • Understands public/private network settings and configurations required to access resource
  • Have good understanding of other resources/services from azure like blob storage, logic app etc...
  • Experience in APIM APIs logging and dashboard to debug and visualize APIs uses and mapping

 

Qualification:

Education: 

  • Bachelor's degree Bachelor's degree in computer science/engineering 

 

Experience:

  • 7+ years of integration development experience
  • 5+ years of experience in API Development and management
  • 3+ years of experience in Azure API Management (APIM) and related Azure services 

 

Technical Knowledge And/or Abilities:

  • Experience in using Azure API Management for designing, publishing, documenting and analyzing APIs in a secure environment.
  • Experience with RESTful API design and development.
  • Knowledge of API security standards and protocols (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
  • Experience in API documentation tools such as Swagger
  • Experience with source control - Subversion/GIT
  • Excellent knowledge of two or more programming languages (C#, Java, VB or others).
  • Experience of conducting feasibility assessments and provide creative solutions and level-of-effort estimates for customer requests and requirements.
  • Experience querying databases using SQL queries
  • Azure AD B2B Authentication Federation experience is must
  • Experience with ws-fed, SAML protocols a plus
  • Experience working with SFDC is a plus
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
