Lead Engineer

 

Required Skills

 

  • Solid CI/CD experience.
  • Hands-on with Docker, Kubernetes basics, and container publishing.
  • Strong in Git branching and merge flows.
  • Good knowledge of Linux and Windows build steps.
  • Experience with signing, packaging, and version control standards.
  • Knowledge of Snyk, OWASP tools, or any security scanner.
  • Experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform or Ansible) is a plus.
  • Good troubleshooting skills

 

 

Experience and Responsibilities:

 

  • Undergraduate degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required, with graduate degree preferred
  • 8 to 10 years of overall experience in Application/Site Reliability domain
  • Build, package, and version software across platforms.
  • Maintain CI/CD pipelines in GitHub Actions, GitLab, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps.
  • Write and manage build scripts in Bash, PowerShell, Python, or Groovy.
  • Create installers for Windows, Linux, and container-based setups.
  • Set up artifact storage and manage build outputs.
  • Add DevSecOps checks like SAST, SCA, container scans, and secrets scans.
  • Track build failures and fix issues fast.
  • Maintain build environments and keep them stable.
  • Work with developers to improve build times and reduce errors.
  • Support release cycles and update deployment notes.
  • Clean build practices.
  • Ability to work with cross-functional teams.
  • Ownership of the build and release process from start to end.
