Lead Engineer

Required Skills
- Familiarity with Jenkins, Maven, Jira, GitHub/GitLab, JUnits or similar build, development and test tools required
- Experience developing SOAP/RESTFul Web Services required
- Experience and passion for working with diverse Agile development techniques: Kanban, Time Box Sprints, User Stories construct and estimation, TDD, BDD, Continuous Integration, Continuous Testing, Continuous Delivery, Automated Testing and delivering best in class and high-quality products
- Experience with micro-services architecture, design patterns, and frameworks with an eye towards scalability, automation, resiliency, high availability and user experience
- Proficient in AI with hands-on experience in leading AI tools and frameworks
Experience and Responsibilities:
- Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science or related fields
- 8 - 10 years of experience programming in Java required with at least 5 years leading programmers through the entire SDLC in an Agile environment
- Expert level experience with Java, JEE framework and Spring
- Work closely with offshore team developers to guide and develop best in class web applications
- Perform code reviews
- Lead the development of complex programs spanning multiple teams across the organization
- Be the go-to expert for technical solutions within the team’s development responsibilities
