ERP Delivery Manager

 

PRIMARY JOB PURPOSE

The ERP Delivery Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation, support, maintenance, and enhancement of ERP systems within the Division from an IT perspective, ensuring they align with business needs and drive operational efficiency. This role involves managing ERP projects, fostering innovation, and ensuring the integration and harmonization of ERP solutions across various departments.

 

KEY POSITION ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement IT strategies for the Division’s ERP systems to align with business goals and objectives.

  • ERP Management: Work closely with the business and oversee the development, deployment, and maintenance of ERP systems, ensuring they meet user needs and performance standards.

  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage a team of IT professionals, including developers and support staff, to ensure effective ERP delivery and support.

  • Project Oversight: Manage ERP-related projects, including upgrades, new implementations, and integrations with other systems.

  • Vendor Management: Work with external IT vendors and service providers to procure and manage ERP solutions and services.

  • Security and Compliance: Ensure that ERP systems comply with security standards and regulatory requirements, implementing necessary controls and audits.

  • User Support and Training: Ensure appropriate support and training is provided to users to maximize the effective use of ERP systems.

  • Innovation and Improvement: Continuously seek opportunities to improve ERP performance and user experience through innovation and best practices.

  • Lifecycle Management: Oversee the lifecycle management of ERP systems, including selection, implementation, maintenance, and retirement.

SELECTION CRITERIA

  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to lead a diverse team of IT professionals.

  • Extensive experience in ERP management, including development, implementation, and support.

  • Excellent strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.

  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align IT initiatives with business goals.

  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Strong project management skills, with a track record of delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

  • In-depth knowledge of ERP lifecycle management, including best practices and industry standards.

  • Experience with vendor management and contract negotiation.

  • Familiarity with regulatory and compliance requirements related to ERP management.

  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and changing technology environment.

  • Proven ability to foster innovation and drive continuous improvement.
