Profile Summary
Manager - Cloud Security position will work collaboratively with the software engineering teams, infrastructure, and Devops teams to create and maintain the partner program-specific security/audit compliance requirements. The position will play a key role as part of the Security and Governance team in arriving the security policies and implementing AWS Well Architect Framework’s pillars and design principles and best practices.

This position plays a key role in ensuring the security of the cloud implementations. The position plays a key role in designing, developing, and implementing security automation needs. This position will be responsible for developing system integrations and automating processes to streamline security operations and audit compliance.

Duties and Responsibilities include and are not limited to the following.

• Integrate security capabilities with other security pillars that include identity access management, data protection, network security, and application security
• Collaborate with DevOps, Application development, Network and Information security teams developing and managing the security orchestration and automation requirements
• Collaborate with Incident Response teams to develop correlation rules and corresponding incident response workflows/playbooks from cloud security standpoint.
• Arriving with the security best practices and collaborate with all the stakeholders on successful implementation.
• Supporting and helping the teams on the ISO 27001 and SOC certifications.
• Evaluate cutting edge Cloud security technologies, drive towards adoption, create proof-of-concept and frameworks
• Participate in architecture review and provide recommendations to ensure the security of the product.
• Provide guidelines for well architected cloud implementation from security standpoint.
• Arrive with best practices on the cost optimization initiatives and work with multiple stakeholders in bringing down the cost.
• Managing the team of cloud security engineers on day-day basis
• Mentoring and supporting the team on cloud security initiatives.
• Performance management of the cloud security team.

Preferred Qualifications :-

• Experience with Continuous Compliance tools such as Prisma Cloud, Cloud Conformity or any similar multi-cloud management tool
• AWS Solutions Architect or Security Specialist certification is a plus

Education And/Or Qualification:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Programming/Systems or Computer Science or networking or equivalent experience.
• Typically requires overall 10+ years of experience in cloud security, network security and application security.
• Minimum 5 + years’ experience developing automation solution for security implementations
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in managing the teams.
• Experience with Security Orchestration and Automation Response (SOAR) platforms (e.g. Demisto, Phantom, etc.)
• Experience working with AWS security capabilities (WAF, Guard Duty, Security Groups, IAM, etc).
• Experience deploying and integrating security technologies.
• Experience with the Center for Internet Security (CIS) benchmark and CSA Cloud Control Matrix
• Experience working in an agile and cross-functional team environment.
• Experience with the aspect(s) of computer security: network security, application security, security protocols, cryptography
• Exposure to other cloud technologies like Azure and Google Cloud.
• Exposure to application security and penetration testing.
• Hands-on experience with programming languages (e.g. Python, AWS Lambda, Go, etc.)
• Hands-on experience in networking.
• Experience in Unix/Linux administration and shell scripting
• Experience with log data aggregation solutions (e.g. Elk, Splunk, Sumologic, etc.)
• Experience in working with hybrid implementations which involves connectivity between cloud and on-prem solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems, identify and understand requirements, and develop alternate solutions.
• Experience in working with multi product implementation environment.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate findings both written and orally using both technical and non-technical terms.
