About the Role

Reporting to our Factory Manager, the Logistics Manager is responsible for coordinationg all aspects of the delivery process in the Spence Door business based in Cheltenham.

Essentially this role is responsible for delivering our manufactured products to the customer in a safe and efficient manner.

 

Further, you will:

  • Coordinate all activities of the delivery process from receiving, warehousing through to delivery of our finished goods.
  • Ensure that our finiashed goods are being stored safely.
  • Ensure that the correct goods are delivered to the customer on time.
  • Ensure preventative maintenance tasks are completed.
  • Assist with manage our quality control standards.
  • Drive continuous improvement culture within the logistics team.

 

About you

  • 3-4 years’ experience as a Logistics Manager in manufacturing industry.
  • Experience coaching a team.
  • Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to assist facilitate change.
  • Ability to identify and manage risks before they arise.
  • Excellent planning and time management skills.
  • Proficient in the Microsoft office suite.
