Customer Service Administrator



Overview of Position: 
Perform a variety of administrative duties for the Customer Service department

Description of Duties/Responsibilities/Customer Requirements: 


  • Work at the front desk providing various administrative services.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls on a multi-line switchboard, route calls to the appropriate person/department, or convey messages as required.
  • Answers questions about organization and provides callers with address, directions, and other information.
  • Welcomes on-site visitors, determines nature of business, and announces visitors to appropriate personnel.
  • Performs incidental clerical work such as filing, sorting mail, filling out forms and similar tasks.
  • Use various computer software packages to prepare correspondence, reports, schedules, customer service communications and respond to distributor inquiries. 
  • Assist in various customer experience projects and programs as needed. 
  • Keeps records and notes and updates staff, monitors changes, reads notices and memos.
  • Attend various meeting including, but not limited to Huddle Meetings, Shipping Meetings, Operational Review Meetings.
  • Ability to understand aspects of products and product families. 
  • Assist in the Customer Service department with various tasks, including order entry, order checking, handling customer questions.
  • Assist with various digital Customer Experience and Sales Enablement tools.
  • Perform other clerical duties as assigned.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by management.  


Supervisory Responsibilities: None at this time.

  • Requires education generally equivalent to a high school diploma.  It is desirable for the employee to have accomplished additional training in office procedures.
  • Requires six months to one year experience in administrative activities.
  • Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office software.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Requires the ability to function as a team member and contribute to group goals.
  • Requires considerable attention to sales/marketing administrative related details.
  • Requires the ability to use a variety of office equipment such as calculator, telephone, photocopier, and printer.
