ABOUT THE ROLE 

We currently have a exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Specialist to join the team. Based in Carole Park, the Supply Chain Specialist is responsible for the execution of the strategic supply, vendor management, demand reviews, day to day purchasing activities and 3PL management activities.  

Key Responsibilties include:  

  • Chair Demand Review Meeting and actively support Sales & Operations Process (S&OP) activities.  

  • Demonstrate a full understanding of MRP/Production Planning process.  

  • Champion forecasting data integrity and commercial participation by all stakeholders.  

  • Liaise with all key stakeholders such as Finance, Sales, Customer Service, Operations, and Marketing to communicate the business plan.  

  • Identify opportunities and recommend strategies for inventory control and management. 

  • Formulate, analyse, and present Demand Exception reports for use within Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process.  

  • Assist with sourcing and selecting for the best purchase package. 

  • Manage inventory levels of materials or products in liaison with Operations and budget requirements.  

  • Ensure all Compliance documents are completed as per company policy and procedure  

  • Day to Day purchasing duties 

 

ABOUT YOU 

The ideal candidate will have the ability to build strong relationships and influence stakeholders. You will be a team player who is flexible and adaptable to change. You will have strong organising skills and excellent planning, time management and prioritisation skills. 

Further, you will have demonstrated: 

  • 2+ plus years’ experience in a similar role 

  • Strong oral and written communication skills. 

  • Demonstrated experience in demand planning, purchasing, Logistics and processes within a manufacturing environment. 

  • Ability to accurately interpret production orders.  

  • Proficient in Microsoft suite
