What would you do as our Senior HR Generalist – Learning & Development Coordinator?
In addition to providing day-to-day HR support for Door Group-level employees, this position will play a key role in coordinating Learning & Development initiatives designed to strengthen manufacturing leadership, support internal mobility, and create growth opportunities across the Door Group.
You would also:
- Serve as a primary HR contact for Door Group-level employees, providing support on benefits, policies, employee programs, and HR processes.
- Coordinate onboarding, employee changes, background checks, drug screens, and other employee lifecycle activities.
- Partner with manufacturing and HR leaders to identify development needs and help design, coordinate, and deliver Learning & Development programs in manufacturing that support employee growth, internal mobility, and future leadership development across the Door Group.
- Assist with employee engagement initiatives and recognition programs.
- Maintain employee records and support HR systems, reporting, and data integrity.
- Support performance management and talent review processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, employment regulations, and training requirements.
- Participate in HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives across the Door Group.
The skills and experience you need:
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and relevant HR experience.
- 3-5 years of progressive Human Resources experience within a manufacturing, industrial, or distribution environment strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting day-to-day HR operations, including onboarding, employee questions, HRIS transactions, and coordinating pre-employment activities.
- Exposure to payroll processes, benefits administration, and employee relations is preferred but not required.
- Experience or demonstrated interest in coordinating, and delivering Learning & Development, employee training, or leadership development initiatives for first line manufacturing roles (i.e. lead or supervisor level).
- Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships and effectively partner with employees and leaders across multiple locations and functions.
- Strong organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, build relationships, and follow through on commitments
- Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR certification is a plus.

Compensation & Benefits
The anticipated base salary range for this role is up to $115,000 depending on experience, skills, and overall alignment with the position.
