Pioneer Industries (an ASSA ABLOY company) is expanding! We are adding an Order Processing Manager to the Team. This role will be based out of our manufacturing facility located in Carlstadt, New Jersey.

What would you do as our Order Processing Manager?
You will plan, organize and direct the order listing, CNC programming and manufacturing engineering functions to meet company objectives for the design, new product development and improvement of existing product lines. This includes providing operations the necessary physical resources and technical support to manufacture a quality product efficiently, safely and competitively. Manage the engineering compliance activities for the business. Will manage teams in combination of internal or third-party employees on premises or remote.
- Directly manage all Order listing, CNC programming and Manufacturing Engineering personnel to support the growth of the business.
- Lead resources by utilizing Thrive system to document rework and drive problem solving culture.
- Train, coach and mentor cross-functional team members.
- Manage work assignments in staffing, scheduling, coordinating, and planning of personnel engaged in order listing, CNC programming and manufacturing engineering activities. Plans and establishes engineering schedules and follows up performance against estimates.
- Lead large project teams of significant scope including other cross-functional colleagues.
- Nurture and develop team members creating an environment of continuous improvement.
- Participate in the company-wide cost extraction program. These activities include VAVE projects, Kaizen events, line balance and flow improvements, acquiring and implementing new technology.
- Develop shop floor paperwork to ensure our products are made to specification.
- Develop bills-of-material and routing for specified products. Utilize Syteline as repository for data.
- Collaborate with scheduling and purchasing team on steel and part requirements for larger projects.
- Oversee the engineering compliance activities, UL, Intertek, etc.
- Develop change management proposals, drafts plans and oversees project activities.
- Assist in the development and maintaining of SOPs.
- Maintain appropriate metrics and KPIs.
- Perform other duties as required.

The Skills and Experience you need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering preferred.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification or equivalent required; LEAN certification is a plus.
- Minimum 7 years of engineering experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment with at least 3 years in a leadership role, managing teams and overseeing projects.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in metal forming.
- Prior experience in hollow metal manufacturing is a plus.
- Proven ability to lead and execute large-scale projects, ensuring successful outcomes.
- Strong knowledge of tooling and machinery design with a focus on process optimization.
- Proficiency in CAD systems and relevant software tools.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
