This position will be based onsite out of our Grand Canyon Service Center in Phoenix, Arizona located off the 202 Freeway and Lower Buckeye Road or our brand-new Paramus, New Jersey office in Bergen County opening soon.

What would you do as our Order Specialist (Architectural Products)?

You will play a key role in managing customer orders from intake through production and shipment, including interpreting specifications and researching drawings to ensure accuracy.

 

You would also:

  • Manage orders from purchase order receipt through final shipping documentation
  • Partner with contractors, distributors, and internal teams to resolve questions and ensure accurate, on-time execution
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Sales, Operations, Manufacturing) to meet customer expectations and lead times
  • Build product knowledge through ongoing training to support complex order requirements
  • Contribute to a collaborative, safety-focused work environment
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements, and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
  • Support additional projects and priorities as business needs evolve

 

The Skills and Experience you need:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with comfort working with basic math (geometry/algebra)
  • Proficiency with standard business systems and tools (e.g., Excel, email, order management systems)
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and ability to manage priorities with a sense of urgency
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience in door, building materials, hollow metal, or related industries strongly preferred

Salary range between $50K and $60K depending on level of experience
