What would you do as our Customer Service Representative?

 

You will act as the frontline support to our customer base by being responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction by effectively addressing inquiries, processing orders, and resolving issues related to products and services.  You will work closely with our internal teams (Engineering, Sales, Operations, Shipping). You will also serve as a liaison between the company’s team and customers ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the entire customer lifecycle.

 

 

You would also:

  • Provide exceptional support and quick response for customers in a technical product environment, including customer inquiries, pricing and discounts, order entry, order follow-up, and support after sales inquiries
  • Assess and research customer issues and provide quick resolution to customer queries and situations
  • Review orders for product and to ensure accuracy of pricing
  • Reach out to customers to ensure the details of their orders and suggest alternatives to meet customer requirements based on stock and material availability
  • Communicate with customers on discrepancies and/or delivery conflicts
  • Perform special assignments and projects as assigned
  • Follow and promote standard operating procedures (daily tasks/day to day)
  • Participate in a safe working environment
  • Assure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct
  • Other duties as assigned by management

 

The Skills and Experience you need:

  • High School Diploma/GED required
  • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Minimum two (2) years Customer Service experience supporting B2B customers
  • Previous experience or exposure to reading blueprints would be highly preferred
  • Previous experience using an ERP system, and/or possess a comfort level moving between applications and ERP systems to support customers
  • Previous manufacturing and/or building material products knowledge is an asset
  • Pricing knowledge/experience helpful
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent organizational skills and detail-oriented
  • Possess a strong mathematical ability to be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measurement, including fractions and decimals.
  • Strong reasoning and problem solving capabilities
  • Ability to work effectively and positively in a team environment
  • Proficient MS Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Self-motivated, self-regulating and able to meet job expectations with minimal supervision
