Hours:             22.5 per week, across Wednesday to Friday

Purpose of the role

This role is ideal for a highly organised designer with the ability to manage a variety of digital marketing and eCommerce tasks. Working within a fast-paced marketing team, the designer will contribute to a wide range of projects, including print design, social media publishing, and content management. Responsibilities will extend to creating advertisements, brochures, product packaging, displays, and brand communications, ensuring consistency and quality across all marketing materials.

 

 

Key responsibilities

  • Designing visually appealing digital and print marketing materials (brochures, flyers, posters, packaging, social media graphics).
  • Efficiently managing multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
  • Collaborating closely with the team, reporting progress and ensuring timely task completion.
  • Generating creative ideas and concepts, emphasising interactive design elements.
  • Working collaboratively across departments to accomplish tasks and meet organisational objectives.
  • Upholding and using brand guidelines to ensure design consistency across all materials.
  • Demonstrating illustrative skills with sketches and working on layouts ready for print.
  • Using innovation to redefine a design brief within time and cost constraints.

  • Demonstrates a systematic, organised, and accurate approach to tasks.
  • Possesses excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Displays enthusiasm, self-motivation, and a proactive work ethic.
  • Capable of managing projects from initiation to completion, with a keen eye for review.
  • Exhibits strong motivation and a creative outlook in design work.
  • Effectively manages multiple priorities and meets deadlines consistently.
  • Holds a recognised industry qualification or relevant experience in graphic design.
  • Brings a minimum of 2 years of industry experience, preferably in a B2B environment.
  • Functions well as a team player and has the ability to take a leadership role when required.
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.
