We are looking for a Component Engineer to joing our team in Cardiff!
Working in a small, versatile team, the candidate's work will involve product design and sustaining activities on a range of RFID access products which are sold worldwide.
The candidate needs to be able to effectively manage their time to support work on a variety of products at different stages of the product's lifecycle, and to be able to collaborate well with colleagues from different departments both on-site and overseas.

As our Component Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Ability to understand component data sheets.
- Ability to determine alternative components when current components are EOL.
- VAVE Experience in Schematic and PCB reviews.
- Circuit simulation and testing.
- Electronic assembly with SMD components.
- Document control systems (eg Agile).
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Your Experience and Education include:
- Degree level or 5 years’ experience in Engineering and/or high volume manufacturing environment.
