PURPOSE OF THE ROLE

To provide exceptional customer service and support through effective communication, sales, and order processing, ensuring customer satisfaction and contributing to the achievement of sales and profitability targets. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, coordinating with internal departments, and upholding company standards and procedures in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES / ACCOUNTABILITIES

Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and attend to customers promptly and professionally
  • Telephone calls to be answered promptly
  • Achieve sales/GP target set out Monthly
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products, pricing and promotions
  • Keep records of pipelines and close rate
  • Upsell and cross-sell products where appropriate
  • Invoicing orders and communicating clearly to customer/Rep with progress of order
  • Checking orders when handing stock over
  • The handling of telephonic queries and quotations that needs to be e-mailed
  • Always keeping a clean and tidy working environment
  • Follow up on back orders and co -ordinate stock with storeman for stock
  • Ensure CODs are paid before invoicing and releasing stock on COD accounts
  • Assist with monthly stock take
  • Any other tasks as set by Management
  • Monitor and Maintain KPIs
  • Follow Company policies and procedures
  • Carries out ad hoc duties to support departmental goals and business needs

PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS/ EXPERIENCE

Qualifications:

  • Grade 12/Matric
  • Valid Code 8 driver’s license
