- Position: CNC Specialist
- Report to: Production Senior Manager
- Working time: 8:00 – 17:00 | Monday – Friday
- Location : DEEP C 2B Industrial Zone, Dinh Vu, Hai Phong
- Job Overview:
- The CNC Specialist is responsible for programming, operating, and managing CNC machines to process precision mechanical components. This involves analyzing technical drawings, setting up machining programs, selecting appropriate cutting tools, and optimizing production processes to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Additionally, the CNC Specialist performs maintenance, resolves machine issues, inspects product quality, and improves processes to minimize production costs. They also train and support CNC operators and collaborate with other departments to achieve the plant’s production goals.
- Responsibility:
- CNC Programming and Operation:
- Develop and optimize CNC machining programs for components such as door closer bodies, hydraulic boxes, and arms.
- Read and analyze technical drawings (2D/3D) to ensure accurate programming.
- Select cutting tools and machining parameters to maximize efficiency and quality.
- CNC equipment management and maintenance:
- Ensure CNC machines operate stably and meet production requirements.
- Plan periodic maintenance and repair machines when necessary.
- Monitor and check machine status, detect errors and provide solutions.
- Improve processing process:
- Optimize production process to reduce processing time, tool wear and production costs.
- Coordinate with departments to improve product quality and productivity.
- Quality inspection and control:
- Establish technical standards and control the quality of processed products.
- Coordinate with QA/QC department to ensure machined parts meet technical requirements and product standards.
- Employee training and guidance:
- Train and support CNC machine operators on programming techniques and machine usage.
- Ensure employees comply with production processes and occupational safety requirements.
- Requirement:
- University/College degree in mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, or related fields.
- Minimum 3-4 years of experience working with CNC machines, preferably in precision mechanical processing factories.
- Experience with CNC programming software such as Mastercam, SolidCAM, or Fanuc, Siemens, Mazak operating systems.
- Proficiency in reading and understanding technical drawings (2D/3D).
- CNC programming skills and operating CNC milling and turning machines.
- Understanding of machining materials (ADC12 aluminum, alloy steel, etc.) and cutting tools.
- Problem solving and error analysis skills.
- Good teamwork and communication skills with other departments.
- Ability to work overtime if needed
