We’re expanding our Business Development Team, seeking to a hire a Business Development Manager to spearhead anticipated growth in our Mid-West & West Coast region. You will pave the path for increased sales while fortifying the company’s big picture strategy. Your will help guide and mentor sales professionals, while developing a sense of empowerment among your team members. Your end goal is to drive the organization towards sustained success through well fostered relationship building.

 

This position will ideally sit in the Mid-West or West Coast regions and close to a major airport.

What you will be doing 

  • Spearhead the seamless integration of critical Securitech Solutions into the Door Security Solution’s Portfolio, ensuring cohesive and comprehensive team messaging.
  • Deliver strategic approaches tailored to regional needs and circumstances within key vertical markets, driving targeted growth and success.
  • Conduct thorough product training sessions for the Door Security Solutions Group, both virtually and in-person to better educate our teams.
  • Assume a pivotal role as a vertical market specialist within designated product groups, leveraging expertise to drive tailored solutions.
  • Engage in informative and persuasive interactions during dealer, distributor training sessions and sales calls, enhancing brand reputation & sales potential.
  • Deliver presentations to end users, showcasing the value & benefits of our solutions.
  • Serve as the brand's "eyes and ears" while buiding deep relationships with key end users contacts and listening to understand their most important needs.
  • Actively participate and cross-collaborate around activities tailored to vertical markets.

 

What we are looking for

  • Bachelor’s Degree Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Economics, Psychology, Finance, or technology field required.
  • Proven track record of success along with 5- 7 years of related business development experience.
  • Ability to effectively communicate dscoveries made in the field and work cooperatively with the company's product development team to create product solutions.
  • Flexibility to undertake frequent travel, with an expectation of up to 50-75% of time spent out in the field, which will include heavier activity at various times of the year.
  • Technical or door/hardware industry background is most preferred.
  • Must be self-motivated and driven for results.
  • Must have a strong entrepreneurial drive and vision.
  • Must be able to multitask, juggling many balls at the same time.
  • Ability to lift 50lbs regularly.

The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At ASSA ABLOY it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The base salary for this position is $90,000 to $115,000 with an annual bonus structure.
