About The Role
We currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales Representative - Specification to join our team based in Murarrie, Brisbane. Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager – Specification, this role will focus on the achievement of the sales budget for our specification business, requiring both the identification of new business opportunities and the growth of market share and sales margins.
The key responsibilities for this role will include but are not limited to:
• Achieving budgeted sales and gross margins
• Applying exceptional business development and planning skills
• Developing and managing the specification/commercial opportunities
• Establishing and maintaining strategic business partnerships
• Monitoring competitor/customer activity and reporting on market intelligence
• Demonstrating product effectiveness to a variety of stakeholders
• Account management in the commercial segments with major builders
About You
With a background in sales and/or key account management experience, you will enter the role with a proven track record of achieving sales and growth goals.
You will bring:
• Experience within the architectural specification market
• Selling skills to bring in new businesses whilst also maintaining existing accounts
• Commercially acumen and have good judgement skills in decision making
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship management skills as well as presentation and communication skills
