Your Opportunity:

The Marketing Manager for APACMEA will be responsible for developing and delivering the Traka global marketing plan for the Asia Pacific, Middle East, Africa and India regions.  This role will work closely with the Head of APACMEA, Regional Business Leads, Business Development Managers, Certified Channel partners central and other regional marketing teams in order to create and execute the plan which will include PR, Digital Marketing, Trade Shows, as well as sector campaign and regionalized marketing materials. As part of the Global Marketing organization the APACMEA Marketing Manager will also take lead in projects or co-ordination areas of particular interest for the Global Organization.

 

It will be your mission to:

  • Formulate an overall strategy for all marketing activities, external communications, tradeshow events, digital branding/strategy, audience engagement and production of various supporting media assets such as webinars and video case studies for the Americas
  • Plan and manage annual marketing budgets, track spending and adjust as needed based on revised forecasts
  • Manage and ideally lead (design) the creation of collateral, email campaigns, digital advertising, promotions, presentations, videos, etc as needed for both end users and reseller marketing activities
  • Analyse market trends and recommend changes to marketing and business development strategies based on analysis and feedback
  • Oversee creation and delivery of press releases, advertisements, and other marketing communications for end user and reseller markets
  • Develop a digital marketing strategy to align with and maximize market sector strategies based on current sales targets and initiatives
  • Oversee the planning, coordination and execution of national tradeshow events and all associated activities
  • Collaborate with other departments to execute the preparation and delivery of internal and external training materials
  • Manage agency or freelance relationships as needed
  • Deliver customer-facing and internal documents in alignment with the global and local brand strategy
  • Ensure that brand messages are consistent and in alignment with central marketing guidelines
  • Manage and update website and digital strategy as needed, both directly and with 3rd parties as needed
  • Manage and create videos to support sales, reseller channel and operations efforts, as needed
  • Maintain & update all content and media required for APACMEA website properties
  • Coordinate the translation of all marketing materials and initiatives as needed for the APACMEA region, primarily Japanese
  • Collaborate to improve marketing automation functionality to maximize lead generation efforts
  • Manage, deliver and host regularly scheduled series of webinars in collaboration with regional sales teams
  • Perform analysis of marketing and sales data in collaboration with marketing analyst to maximize marketing spend efficiencies
  • Collaborate with other ASSA ABLOY to coordinate marketing efforts and trade shows, as needed
  • Drive social media strategy and content production along with marketing analyst
  • Maintain tracking reports of leads and campaigns
  • Maintain database of marketing deliverables and source files
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the manager

Special competencies:

Minimum Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge and Skills:

  • A Degree in Marketing, Advertising or Graphic Design;
  • Experience in driving marketing efforts and supporting an International sales team;
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in focussed Marcomms activity with proven results;
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
  • Extensive knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, major social media platforms and Microsoft Office;
  • Experience in Salesforce CRM platform, Marketo desirable;
  • Experience in videography, graphic/web design and copywriting is a plus;
  • Valid driver’s license and passport;
  • Reliable transportation to and from work;
  • Must be able to travel;
  • This role will ideally be based out of our Divisional HQ Brisbane Office, Australia;
