About The Role
We currently have an opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our Sales Team in Queensland as the Business Development Manager QLD - Commercial Access Control. Based at our Murarrir (QLD) site and reporting to the National Systems Integrator Manager, this role will have you responsible for the Queensland territory and group of customers in the Commercial Access Control market.
The key responsibilities for this role will include:
• Implementation of sales strategies to increase our revenue growth and market presence
• Achieve Sales and Margin Budget for ASSA ABLOY Access Control products
• Targeting and approaching System Integrators, Locksmiths, Security Consultants and end users to create awareness of the benefits of our technology with the aim of generating demand
• Develop promotional and merchandising initiatives to support sales targets
• Account Management of System Integrators, Locksmiths and Security Consultants to increase ASSA ABLOY Access Control & wireless product sales
• Work with end users and third parties to drive pull through sales of ASSA ABLOY Access Control products
• Solution sales approach, based on value and knowledge in the benefits and features of the technology
About You
You will be an experienced professional with proven account development and field sales experience. You will also have a demonstrated ability to present relevant technical and value information to a wide customer base with strong negotiation skills and business acumen focus.
You will have:
• Proven ability to achieve product representation, quality brand position and category dominance
• Technical sales experience dealing with Integrated Access Control Solutions
• Previous experience dealing with System Integrators, Locksmiths and Security Consultants
• Proven ability to achieve sales through effective communication and negotiations
• Solution selling skills to gain new business whilst maintaining and developing existing accounts
• Excellent communication skills both oral and written as well as good computer skills
• The ability to work in a team environment and autonomously
