Vizinex RFID part of HID Global, a manufacturer of Radio Frequency Identification Tags, has an immediate opening for a Manufacturing Engineer to support and optimize the manufacture of Radio Frequency Identification Tags in our Bethlehem, PA manufacturing facility; manage transfer of products from Development to Production and other projects that may include new equipment and/or processes, process improvements and cost reductions.

As our Manufacturing Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Designing tooling and fixtures to support projects as needed
  • Investigating manufacturing yield or product nonconformance issues, determining root causes, and implementing corrective and preventative actions.
  • Developing and revising manufacturing process documentation including material specifications, component and assembly drawings, and work instructions.
  • Improving existing manufacturing processes and equipment to increase yield and reduce labor.
  • Supporting new product development from concept through launch – completing design documentation package for product release including appropriate design files, drawings, component specifications, item description, and BOM’s. 


What we will love about your background: 

  • Programming experience is desirable, specific knowledge of Visual Studio, Python, Ruby, C++, G-Code
  • CAD/CAM experience is desirable


Your Experience and Education include:             

  • Minimum Associate's degree in Engineering required (Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing, or Electromechanical Engineering preferred)
  • 0-4 years of professional experience in manufacturing, electronics/PCB assembly experience is desirable
