Quality Technician

What you will be doing:

  • Audit finished goods for completeness against Bill of Materials; including Special Applications Requests and Quality Assurance Inspections.
  • Inspect production parts machined in house against engineering requirements.
  • Inspect finishes for color requirements.
  • Perform audits of pick-n-pack items per instructions.
  • Assist with receiving inspections as needed.
  • Write Nonconformance Reports and work with production teams to establish corrective actions for nonconformances.
  • Assist with containment actions that arise from nonconformances.
  • Work with internal corrective action teams to perform root cause analysis and corrective action.

 

What we are looking for:

 

3 years + experience in Quality Control performing audit, inspection, testing, and root cause analysis. Must have experience using mechanical inspection equipment. Ability to read and interpret drawings. High school diploma required. Associates degree in a technical field preferred.

  • Good mechanical, analytical, mathematical and computer skills.
  • Ability to work independently and self-motivate.
  • Ability to read and interpret drawings.
  • Understand and use basic inspection equipment.
  • Work methodically, accurately and with proficiency.
  • Maintain accurate records.
  • Work well with others in a close team environment and share responsibilities.
  • Communicate effectively with Engineers, Managers, and Associates.
  • Enthusiasm to learn and develop professionally.
  • Ability to take direction and accept delegated tasks.
