What you would do as our Mobile Application Developer (f/m/d):


We are looking for a Mobile Application Developer at DoorBird to play a key role in the ongoing development of our app platform. In this role, you will design and implement new user interfaces, as well as test the app to ensure clean, readable, and maintainable code. You’ll collaborate closely with firmware developers and engineers in an international team. This position reports directly to our Operational Head of R&D.

You would also:

  • Develop, design, and maintain mobile applications.
  • Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of application.
  • Understanding each layer of software architecture, including the user interface and data collection.
  • Troubleshooting, Unit testing and documentation of code.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and release new features.
  • Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.

 

The skills and experience you need
We are looking for someone who:

  • Experience with Java/Swift and modern Android design patterns
  • Has several years of professional experience as an IT specialist, app developer, mobile developer, Android developer, or software developer.
  • Experience in developing web apps (Java) and Objective-C is an advantage.
  • Ideally holds a degree in computer science, business informatics, or a related field.
  • Enjoys working collaboratively in a team on-site.
  • Possesses good language skills in German and English.
