Location: Berlin, CT (This is an onsite position located at our Berlin facility. Regular in-office availability required at our New Haven, CT location during customer events)

What you will be doing:
The Events Coordinator will be responsible for supporting our National Events Manager on the execution of our national sales meetings, incentive conferences, customer and executive leadership meetings and other miscellaneous events. They will also be responsible for the ASSA ABLOY Red Carpet Tour (RCT) program - a customer visit experience with responsibilities including scheduling, comunications, promotions, on-site execution, follow-up, budgeting, and reporting. The ideal candidate will assist throughout the entire event journey, with anywhere between 25 and 1,000 attendees, from ideation through implementation and reconciliation of each event budget.
Key areas you will contribute to the role include:
- Coordinate and support all RCTs including scheduling, communications, on-site execution, follow up, budgeting and reporting.
- Assist National Events Manager with events including organizing rooming lists, attendee registrations, initiating contracts, ordering equipment and literature, communications to staff, occasionally acting as on-site support, social media promotions, reconciliation of invoices/final billing, collecting and analyzing feedback and any other misc. administrative functions.
- Support field sales teams for all local and regional events – promotions, coordination of venue and catering, displays and samples if needed, etc.
- Assist with sourcing promotional items for various events.
- Provide overall support to the marketing and training department as needed.

- You are client focused and have superior customer service skills.
- Must exude a positive, professional demeanor to deliver exceptional attendee experiences for both internal and external customers.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
- May be required to lift/carry up to 50 lbs.
Education and/or experience:
- Your background includes a Bachelor’s degree in related curricula such as Marketing, Hospitality Management, Events Management or Communications, or similar.
- CMP strongly desired.
- Minimum of 2 – 3 years of event or tradeshow planning experience.
- Experience with digital marketing, specifically with social media channels and marketing automation platforms.
- You are competent in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience with CVENT or other event planning software platforms desired.
- Experience with Adobe products, Salesforce, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Monday.com, or other project management platforms a plus.
Availability requirements:
- This position is onsite and based at our Berlin, CT office, 5 days a week.
- Must be willing to travel up to 20% travel in the domestic US.
- Regular in-office availability required at our New Haven, CT location during Red Carpet Tour events.
- Must be regularly available and willing to work assigned schedule or other hours as the Company determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
- Must be available and willing to work overtime and on weekends as the Company determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
- Must be available and willing to travel to such locations and with such frequency as the Company determines is necessary or desirable to meet its business needs.
