Associate Engineer
The Associate Engineer will be responsible for working in AEM based applications and related Integration platform projects development via following through the entire life cycle in collaboration with partner’s team. This role will be also responsible to work with team of developer’s under the guidance of technical lead to deliver the requirements. This role will also be responsible for supporting existing implementation via enhancements and bug fixes.
In addition to strong technical knowledge of the Java, React, HTML, CSS, JQuery and integrated platform this position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain trusted relationships with various business stack holders and partners. Work will be managed with supervision of lead and encouraged to take initiative on ideas, best practices etc...
This role will be based onsite in Berlin, CT on a full-time basis.
What you will be doing
- Develop technical approaches designed by technical lead/architect to achieve business requirements, documents and peer review with development team.
- Ensures the delivery and success of enterprise-level integration and development involving third party client side integration including request/response flow
- Participates in AEM training program to learn and adapt into projects delivery
- Participates in gathering of technical and functional requirements from business teams during discovery phase and share your expertise with tech lead/architects to translate it into solution and document it
- Experience and exposure in agile methodologies
- Excellent communication skills and customer relationship building skills
What we are looking for
- Strong hands on experience Java, React, HTML, CSS, JQuery etc…
- Experience/understanding with third party integrations e.g. Search Integrations, Authentication Handlers, Web services Integrations
- Good understanding of integration patterns and content-centric application development patterns.
- Should have worked on projects developed using tech stack Java/React
- Should have conducted code reviews for ongoing projects to ensure optimal code quality and appropriate design patterns are used
- Experience working with CMS, E-Commerce platforms is a plus (e.g. Magento, SalesForce Commerce Cloud etc.).
Experience
- Overall 0-2 years of experience in websites or web applications development
- Experience in developing websites sites using :
- React/Sightly/JSP/Java/Angular
- Servlet, Services, Third Party Integration
- Server side caching build (symphony, EHcache etc…)
- Atomic design
- Client libraries (jQuery/ES6 etc)
- Styling system/Multitenant architecture
- Front end and server side debugging and fixing issue
- Performance improvement and SEO debugging and tracking
- Experience with Analytics tools like (google analytics or adobe analytics) will be plus
- Experience with Tagging system like (google tag manager or adobe launch) will be plus
- Experience with eCommerce platform like Magento will be plus
- Experience with integrating SalesForce will be plus
- Experience with integrating Product management system will be plus
- Experience utilizing BitBucket, GitHub, Jira and Confluence
- Experience with cloud offerings as a hosting platform
- Experience on CI/CD process
- Experience in integration with GDPR
- Experience in any developing or training AI models is plus
- Broad web and digital knowledge with an aptitude for troubleshooting and problem solving.
