What you would do as our Area Sales Manager


We are looking for someone to be responsible for developing new and existing sales to the Education sector across the Midlands and South regions.

Reporting into the Director of Business Development, you would:
 

  • Make effective sales calls to new, prospective customers to grow territory sales volumes whilst having a focus on maintaining margin.
  • Maintaining and provide accurate records and documentation relating to customer interactions, sales projections & forecasts, action plans, and key account development plans.
  • Coordinate with internal sales and marketing team to maximise and actively engage all sales opportunities.
  • Actively participate in the resolution of any customer problems/issues.
  • Ability to manage relationships, on a local and regional level, with owners, operators, main contractors, mechanical and electrical contractors, architects, and influencers.

 

The skills and experience you need

 

We are looking for someone who: 

  • Has a proven, successful experience in managing and growing sales revenues.
  • Ideally has experience in selling electronic / security products, ideally into the Education Accommodation Sector.
  • Knows the Midlands/ South/ London well and has a willingness to travel around the UK to meet new and existing customers.

 

You will bring the energy, ambition, and geographic knowledge we are looking for to develop our sales across the region while displaying the ability to clearly convey thoughts and ideas effectively in a variety of ways to suit audiences and situations.
