We are currently recruiting an Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to sell Fargo Products in Germany, Austria, the UK, and the Nordics. We are currently recruiting a Regional Sales Manager (RSM) to sell FARGO products in Germany, Austria, the UK, and the Nordics. The RSM will also further develop HID’s presence in key vertical markets in the region. The qualified candidate must propose ideas and offer consultancy to partners on how to grow their card issuance business, help implement and support them to meet growth targets, and to resolve complex commercial issues. We are looking for someone with channel management skills and who has a good knowledge of Salesforce and the markets.

As our Regional Sales Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

  • Managing and developing all accounts within your region to achieve targets
  • Developing and executing the business strategy
  • Identifying new sales opportunities to increase market presence
  • Managing the go-to-market channel including distributors, system integrators, resellers, and OEMs
  • Devising and implementing account plans to accommodate strategic goals
  • Supporting indirect channel in the region
  • Delivering support and training to all accounts
  • Conducting regular market analysis to determine needs
  • Representing the company at trade shows, customer events and association meetings
  • Collaborating across business areas to efficiently deliver solutions to meet customer needs
  • Maintaining customer details, activities and opportunities using the Salesforce CRM tool
  • Analyzing account sales figures to understand buying patterns
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of all HID products and competitive products
  • Preparing and submitting accurate forecasts on a regular basis using the tools provided

 

 

 

What we will love about your background: 

 

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Experience in using Salesforce CRM
  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language, both verbally and in writing
  • Ability to speak German is desirable
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards

 

 

Your Experience and Education include:             

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent 
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience managing key accounts
  • Demonstrable ability to hit sales targets
  • Previous experience of selling Card Printers and/or Access Control solutions would be an advantage
  • Experience in a solution selling environment specifically Saas and/or Cloud based licensing models would be desirable
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to work as a self-starter, but also a work effectively as part of a team
  • Hands on attitude with the ability to manage multiple projects, successfully prioritizing time
