Are you ready for your next challenge? We are looking for a Configuration Specialist to join FlexiForce EMEA, part of ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems – Sectional Doors & Components (SDC).

 

At FlexiForce, we provide products and solutions for the residential and industrial overhead door market – from single components and hardware sets to complete automation solutions.

As a Configuration Specialist, you will play a key role in maintaining and developing our product configuration models, supporting our teams to stay ahead in the market.

 

 

What you will do

In this role, you will:

  • Build, maintain and improve the Tacton configuration model for FlexiForce EMEA.
  • Integrate the configuration model with AAES and FlexiForce IT systems.
  • Maintain and develop tests to ensure the accuracy of configuration models.
  • Monitor approvals, releases, and version control of configuration models, keeping documentation up to date.
  • Optimize the configuration structure to reduce workload and improve maintainability.
  • Support Product Management and R&D in defining ruling and project scopes.
  • Advise R&D management on external actions to ensure system availability.
  • Represent R&D in IT-related matters for connectivity and alignment with internal and external systems.
  • Provide advice and support to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Proactively contribute to improvements within the R&D department.
  • Initiate and implement configuration improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Technical, IT, Business Economics, or equivalent. Relevant work experience may also be considered.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role, with experience in automated systems and programming languages (e.g., JavaScript, Visual Basic, C#).
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems and operational experience with configurations (e.g., Tacton).
  • Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and VBA.
  • Experience with technical (hardware) products, production, and logistics.
  • Professional proficiency in English (speaking, reading, writing) to collaborate with international
