Work Schedule:    Monday to Friday 6.00am – 6.00pm as per scheduled rostered
    
General Summary:    As a Service Technician you are responsible for the delivery of various service and maintenance offerings of AAES PDS.  This includes installation, repair, emergency breakdown and other maintenance services required by AAES customers within our product range.
    
Principal Duties & 
Responsibilities:    1.    Install, repair and maintain all equipment under the AAES PDS service portfolio
2.    Conduct inspection and maintenance in accordance with Australian AS5007 Appendix E 
3.    Complete and submit all required paperwork to an acceptable quality standard and within specified timelines 
4.    Liaise with customers in relation to repairs and installation
5.    Liaise with Service Coordinators on any issues that may arise from sites or other works to ensure a timely resolution 
6.    Be available for after hours stand by and call outs as per roast schedule and perform overtime as required 
7.    Comply with Company and site inductions/checks (drug, alcohol, police and other required checks) and other WHS requirements at all times
8.    Maintain all tools in good working order. If tools are lost or broken this must be reported to the Service Manager. If tools are stolen they are to be reported immediately to the police and the service manager is to be advised.
9.    A motor vehicle supplied as tools of the trade must be kept cleaned in good working order at all times and the tech motor vehicle policy must be adhered to.
10.    AAES expects all employees who have been allocated field devices to take the utmost care and responsibility whilst in their possession. Each employee is personally responsible for the protection and maintenance of their field device. The field technology policy must be followed at all times.
11.    Communicate spare parts and vehicle stock requirements with internal support teams to ensure the available of inventory for scheduled works 
12.    Use as instructed, appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as per the SWMS that has been identified on the Hazard Analysis task
13.    Attend and participate in all Toolbox meetings, required training, audits and other programs as required
14.    Report all safety incidents, hazards and risks by completing the required documentation and photos
15.    Comply with AAES Values and Behaviours, Policies and other requirements at all times
16.    Other tasks that may be required from time to time.
    
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required:    •    Knowledge of maintenance processes
•    Geographic knowledge of city/state
•    Technical understanding of auto doors 
•    Good digital competency and ability to use modern information technology system 
•    Must have current drivers licence 
•    Must be able to work flexibly (overtime, out of hours, including weekends).
Special Competencies Required:    •    Able to follow manager’s or company’s instructions and execute to an appropriate quality standard and instructed timelines
•    All electronic and paper documentation is to be completed in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with ASSA ABLOY requirements.
•    Service reports are to be written up, clearly and legibly, prior to leaving the job site with signed approval by the customer. 
•    Able to travel as required
•    Able to work at heights using ladder and lift equipment

•    Accurate and timely completion of paperwork/reporting requirements include all customer portals
