We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Planner. This role is responsible for the daily dispatch and coordination of Technicians and subcontractors, ensuring efficient service delivery, high productivity, and accurate administration. The position is based in Epping, Victoria.

 

What You’ll Do

· Manage daily scheduling and dispatch of Service Technicians across multiple states.

· Coordinate planned maintenance, quoted works, breakdowns, and on-call rosters to optimise productivity and efficiency.

· Act as a key point of contact for customers, handling calls, emails, and service requests in a timely and professional manner.

· Provide proactive communication and updates to customers regarding service timelines and job progress.

· Coordinate subcontractors, including job allocation and invoice approvals, to support service delivery.

· Maintain and update simPRO to ensure all job stages, records, and customer information are accurate and up to date.

· Monitor service performance and escalate issues relating to jobs, invoicing, or installations as required.

· Generate and manage routine maintenance schedules to ensure timely execution.

· Participate in daily team huddles to review performance, priorities, and operational updates.

· Collaborate with internal teams including Projects, Production, Sales, and Finance to ensure smooth coordination.

· Maintain accurate documentation and assist with administrative tasks such as quoting, filing, and inventory support.

 

What You’ll Bring

· 1–3 years’ experience in a service coordination, planning, or similar role.

· Strong customer service and communication skills, with a professional phone manner.

· Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

· High level of attention to detail and organisational skills.

· Sound technical understanding and knowledge of service processes (desirable).

· Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

· Experience with simPRO, Exact, or similar systems (advantageous).

· A collaborative and proactive approach, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
