We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Logistics Manager to oversee logistics operations across Australia and New Zealand. Based in Bangholme, Victoria, this key role is responsible for inventory management as well as domestic and international freight coordination, ensuring efficiency, accuracy and cost-effectiveness across the supply chain.

 

This is a maximum 12-month contract.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Oversee inventory management across multiple locations in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring stock accuracy and optimal stock levels.
  • Manage domestic and international freight, liaising with freight forwarders and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and related documentation.
  • Monitor inventory transactions, stocktakes and cycle counts, including investigation and resolution of variances.
  • Maintain accurate system data and reporting to support operational and financial requirements.
  • Identify and implement improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and cost control.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external logistics providers to support business operations.
  • Travel occasionally for site visits and supplier meetings (interstate and limited international travel).

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business, Engineering or a related field (preferred).
  • Demonstrated experience in logistics, supply chain or inventory management, ideally within a manufacturing or distribution environment.
  • Sound knowledge of freight and inventory processes, both domestic and international.
  • Strong organisational, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience using ERP or similar inventory management systems.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
  • Valid driver’s licence and ability to travel as required.
