Logistics & Inventory Controller
ASSA ABLOY Entrance Systems (Pedestrian) is a global leader in access solutions, renowned for our innovation, integrity, and commitment to quality.
We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Logistics & Inventory Controller to oversee logistics and inventory operations across Australia and New Zealand, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and cost-effectiveness across the supply chain. Based in Bangholme, Victoria.
This is a maximum 12-month contract.
What You’ll Do

Oversee inventory management across multiple locations in Australia and New Zealand, ensuring stock accuracy and optimal stock levels.

Manage domestic and international freight, liaising with freight forwarders and carriers to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and related documentation.

Monitor inventory transactions, stocktakes and cycle counts, including investigation and resolution of variances.

Maintain accurate system data and reporting to support operational and financial requirements.

Identify and implement improvements to enhance logistics efficiency and cost control.

Collaborate with internal teams and external logistics providers to support business operations.

Travel occasionally for site visits and supplier meetings (interstate and limited international travel).
What You’ll Bring

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or related field.

Proven experience in a logistics, supply chain, or inventory management role, preferably within a manufacturing or distribution environment.

Strong understanding of freight and inventory processes, both domestically and internationally.

Excellent organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency with inventory and logistics systems (e.g., ERP software).

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.

Valid driver's licence and ability to travel when required.
