We’re seeking an experienced and driven Production Manager to lead daily operations at our Bangholme, Vic facility, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality production outcomes.
About the Role
As the Production Manager, you’ll oversee all manufacturing activities within our Bangholme factory. You’ll drive production performance, lead process improvements, and foster a culture of safety, quality, and accountability. Working closely with the Operations Manager and cross-functional teams, you’ll play a key role in maintaining high production standards and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and coordinate daily production activities to meet schedules and quality targets.
- Monitor production efficiency, safety, and performance metrics (KPIs).
- Lead and mentor production staff, promoting teamwork and continuous development.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to optimise manufacturing processes.
- Oversee WHS compliance, incident investigations, and quality control standards.
- Support operational reporting, cost analysis, and planning initiatives.
- Partner with procurement, logistics, and installation teams to ensure smooth workflow.
About You
- Tertiary qualifications in Production Engineering or a related discipline.
- 3–7 years’ experience in manufacturing operations, ideally within industrial products.
- Proven ability to lead and motivate teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, process optimisation, and quality assurance.
- Confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
