Position Summary
ASSA ABLOY is seeking a driven and client-focused Key Account Manager to strengthen and grow relationships with our key accounts in the Home Automation segment. In this role, you will be responsible for retaining and expanding existing business, identifying new opportunities, and positioning ASSA ABLOY's smart residential product portfolio with partners and OEMs. You will serve as the primary point of contact for senior stakeholders within client organizations, delivering value-based solutions and driving sustainable revenue growth.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Own and grow a portfolio of key accounts through a proactive, client-centric retention and growth strategy
- Understand client requirements in depth and propose tailored smart integration solutions
- Engage with senior decision-makers at client organizations to present and demonstrate ASSA ABLOY's Smart Residential products and services
- Manage the full sales cycle — from prospecting and solution design through to closing and payment collection
- Drive upselling and cross-selling opportunities across the product portfolio, including branding options
- Conduct quarterly sales analysis and usage reviews; track performance against targets
- Deliver and customize product training for clients; ensure they are kept current with integration updates and upgrades
- Monitor competitor activity and contribute to counter-strategy planning
- Maintain accurate records of account activity and pipeline using CRM and reporting tools
What we are looking For:
- 3–5 years of B2B field sales experience, with a strong track record across the full sales cycle
- Prior experience in Home Automation, Smart Building, or Security Products is essential
- Strong commercial acumen and a value-based selling mindset
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — both written and verbal, in English
- Tech-savvy with a genuine interest in IoT and smart home technology
- Comfortable working with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- A collaborative team player who can also work independently with initiative
- Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Science, Commerce, or Arts; an MBA or equivalent postgraduate qualification is preferred
- 3–5 years of relevant B2B sales experience (seniority of designation will be aligned accordingly)
