Program Manager III

 

Summary

As member of the Product Industrialization Engineering team (focused on external manufacturing), you are responsible for managing New Product Introduction (NPI) for RFID products. From simple product customization up to substantial technical challenges you have to deal with multiple interlocutors within an international and multicultural environment.

Coordination and project monitoring is at the heart of your daily business. In this position you manage all industrialization phases from writing product specification to first production batch validation. The continuous improvement of our processes is also part of your achievements.

Involved from the start of the project you are responsible for lead time and global project achievements.

Internally, you are in charge of communicating/coordinating with product development engineering,  business development and operation teams. Externally, you are the main interface with our various subcontractors (incl. plastic injection molding companies).

As the program manager you are at the center of all these activities, liaising with all the relevant teams of parallel running projects.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Collaboration and coordination with various subcontractors, incl. plastic injection molding companies
  • Delivery and qualification of new samples linked to market demands or customer requests
  • Documentation of new products and executing our ERP set-up with the required information
  • On time transfer of new products in production with the associated tooling, processes, work instructions, raw material
  • Definition of the appropriate technical options for the introduction of new products
  • Managing continuous improvement projects linked to products, processes and company tools

Education and/or Experience          

 

  • Degrees in electronics, micro-technology, mechanical, material science or fields close enough can be taken into account.
  • Project/program management experience
  • Experience in RFID is an asset
  • Experience in plastic injection molding is an asset
  • Experience in agile methods for project management (e.g. Kanban, Scrum, SAFe) is an asset
                            

Language Skills                   

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to communicate in Chinese (Mandarin) is an asset
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.

 

Computer Skills     

  • Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Agile PLM and Oracle EBS is an asset
  • Knowledge of Atlassian Jira is an asset
