Summary

Be responsible for financial accounting, reporting, AR, AP, fixed assets, Sales and Service Tax. Involve in yearly financial audit and tax computation.


As our FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Check sales invoices against Shipments Report & ensure the correctness of billing price
  • Check AP payments and invoices
  • Data entry for AR and AP when required
  • Handle Fixed Asset management inclusive of maintenance of fixed asset register and asset tagging
  • Handle Sales and Service Tax to ensure compliance and on time reporting
  • To prepare monthly analysis schedules, monitor monthly closing process tightly to ensure timely and accurate accounting entries.
  • To ensure timely preparation and submission of financial and management reports
  • Responsible for full spectrum of accounts, tax and financial matters.
  • Liaise with auditors and tax consultants and meet the audit and tax requirements

  • Assist in implementing and monitoring internal control
  • Other ad hoc tasks may be assigned from time to time

 

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. 

  • Degree in accounting, post graduate, second level of ACCA
  • Minimum 3 years of working experience in financial accounting in a manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency in Oracle or ERP system
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications, sound in Excel
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English language verbally and in writing
  • Ability to read and interpret accounting and reporting standards
  • Meticulous, good analytical skill, problem solving skill
  • Work independently and ability to achieve target within given timeline
  • Immediate available is preferable

 

Work Environment:

  • Employee works primarily in an office environment, within a well-ventilated area, and is exposed to moderate noise levels.

 

Work Requirements:

  • Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
