As our Facilities Technician you’ll support HID’s success by: 

 

Summary

Maintenance and conducting PM for Facility services onsite. Ensure all assignments are completed on time and reporting facility equipment issued to superiors if any. Comply with company policies, Facility procedures, Safety and Environmental policies

 

Essential Duties

Facility Technician is required to check and ensure functionality on Aircon, cooling system, CDA, Electrical supply and others Facility services functioning well as daily basis. Immediately report to Facility Supervisor on no function Facility system or equipment. Conduct Facility PM and minor troubleshooting and repairing. Based on Facility PM plan

 

Primary Duties

  • Participate in and contribute to the facility equipment operation, maintenance and services.

Conduct Facility Preventive Maintenance plan. (CDA, HVAC and others Facility services).

Update CMMS system after PM completed, PM delay or PM reschedule. Ensure PM check list

or records are updated.

  • Support on internal fire drills and fire protection system PM.
  • Internal electrical wiring, Power point, lighting, Switchers and others Facility related.
  • Routine buildings maintenance, plumbing work, painting work, plastering, minor leakage and others.
  • Assist in collaborating with cross function team on Facility PM plan.
  • Create and apply safe working practices and basic problem solving.
  • Meet and work towards key performance indicators (KPI). Such as energy cost over sales, Zero major down time to facility equipment. And other KPI facility related.
  • Immediately report facility services issue to superiors. If any
  • Any others task will be added on based on requirement from time to time

 

Essential Qualifications

 

  • Minimum of 1 to 2 years of general work experience in facility or similar.
  • On-call or on-site support for emergency cases. And respond during major breakdown of Facility services or system.
  • Ability to communicate in Bahasa Malaysia and English language, Both verbally and in writing.
  • Alternately working on Saturday. And working rotating shift when required

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • Technical certificates, similar fields will be accepted.
  • Experience in Electrical, Chilled water system, Compressed air system, Aircon, fire protection system. Will be advantage.
  • Capable of troubleshooting and performing basic device repairs.
  • Proficient in MS office applications, such as Word, Excel, Power Point

 

Work Environment

  • Employees work primarily in an office environment, within a well-ventilated area, and are exposed to moderate noise levels.
  • Working at high and outdoors when necessary

 

Work Requirements

 

  • Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired
