What you would do as our Accountant

Be part of a team responsible for the preparation of our Monthly Financial Reporting to Group. Working closely with other Department Managers, you will ensure accuracy of reported information whilst at the same time support the Business with sound commercial financial advice.  

You would also:

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of the requisite monthly financials in line with group requirements
  • Accurately interpret business results on a continuous basis to identify potential issues to address or opportunities to pursue to enhance the operating profit of the business
  • Ensure all local legal, tax and statutory reporting requirements are fulfilled including liaising with local and group auditors and manage VAT, Intrastat, RCT returns
  • Work on annual budget process and forecasts – make sure each department own their numbers

 

The skills and experience you need

We are looking for someone who:

  • Is a qualified accountant with minimum 2 years industry experience, construction industry is a distinct advantage
  • Has exceptional business acumen with numerical, analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Has the ability to adapt, is resistant to stress and is used to working with tight reporting deadlines
  • Has a commercial mindset, cost-conscious attitude and excellent communication skills
