HID’s Marketing Communications Team:

Reporting into the Sr Director, Corporate Communications and Public Relations at HID Global, the Video Production Manager will be responsible for ideating, creating, editing, and distributing highly engaging video content that educates our audience and tells our evolving brand story. This highly motivated individual will help build the video component of HID’s larger content strategy, providing insights and tactics that grow our audience and share our expertise with the security industry and beyond. This position will work closely with the Corporate Communications team to drive integrated communications campaigns, build thought leadership, and drive brand preference. The Video Production Manager will also work closely with stakeholders throughout the organization, including at the Executive level, to craft and share stories in video format with internal and external audiences. Ideal candidates will have outstanding communication skills, strong project management abilities, creative thinking, and the ability to build relationships with a variety of team members across the global organization. The right candidate will have a desire and ability to build an internal video program from the ground up to help the team reach its goals.

As our Video Production Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by: 


  • Developing fresh and engaging video content to support initiatives for social media, internal communications, customer outreach, and thought leadership
  • Capturing video content during live events, behind-the-scenes and in scripted environments. Also support live-streaming corporate events.
  • Building video content strategy to support and complement larger corporate content strategy
  • Establishing video content calendar, including project management details, to support and complement larger corporate editorial calendar
  • Shooting and producing b-roll packages to supplement product marketing and brand efforts.
  • Quickly and efficiently edit high-quality video for distribution.
  • Producing motion graphics and video graphics to complement content and campaigns
  • Leading pre-production aspects, including writing scripts and developing storyboards
  • Setting and executing production calendar; organize and schedule on-site shoots and remote recordings; maintain shot lists, including for pickups and other needs
  • Building and managing relationships between internal stakeholders and external contractors and vendors, anticipating needs and offering solutions
  • Maintaining working knowledge of camera equipment, production studio equipment and editing software.
  • Maintaining a consistent brand voice across platforms for all video content
  • Oversee all video content aligns to ensure alignment brand standards and guidelines
  • Setting performance goals, measure and report on related KPIs to establish benchmarks and drive future video campaigns and strategies
  • Remaining updated on platform improvements and new offerings in the video space
  • Taking HID’s video content to new heights and stand out from the competition


Your Experience and Education include: 


  • Minimum 3 years of video production experience
  • Experience working in a corporate environment
  • Experience in business-to-business (B2B) preferred. 
  • Experience and knowledge in scriptwriting
  • Demonstrated examples of engaging video content
  • Superior communication and organizational skills
  • Familiarity with video management and distribution platforms
  • Strong understanding of video KPIs and ability to report on them
  • Strong project management and analytical skills
  • Highly collaborative with ability to prioritize multiple stakeholder requests
