As the VP of People Partnering, your functional team will undergo significant transformation in terms of the HR service delivery responsibilities; therefore, a proven strength and passion for leading teams through change is essential. Reporting into the SVP Human Resources, the VP People Partnering will lead a global “People” Function and Team of regional, country and site specific “People Partners”.  The role also partners closely with HR Business Partners, Compliance, and our Centers of Excellence.


Our “People” function and team are the deliver core advisory support for employees and managers from early career through to Manager level professionals.  The People Partner Team support HID’s success by delivering core HR Advisory Responsibilities across the full employee lifecycle.

As our VP, People Partnering, you’ll support HID’s success by: 


  • People Strategy: work as part of the core HR Leadership Team to drive and deliver the HR transformation, key objectives, and deliverables. Additionally this role will directly partner the SVP HR as the Business Partner for HR to continue to develop and lead Organizational strategies that align structure, culture and talent with Business goals. Therefore this role will lead the change management agenda across the HR Organization.
  • Stakeholder Consultation: lead a global team of trusted people partners to our leaders and employees, providing counsel across the full employee lifecycle.
  • Employee Relations: your team will manage and resolve employee relations matters, providing advice and mitigating the creation of formal ER issues where possible
  • Managing Performance: institute consistent practices that ensure all colleagues and their managers are fully engaged in the performance management process.
  • Workforce Optimization: work in partnership with HRBP’s and COE’s to implement workforce strategies and plans that flex in times of Business needs.
  • Workforce Planning: coach hiring managers in all aspects of position management and support stakeholders in the requisition creation, compensation, and approval process.
  • New Hire Orientation/Onboarding: your team will take the lead in ensuring a first-class employee orientation and onboarding experience for new and acquired employees.
  • Career Development: supporting managers and employees with the guidance and resources to have rich career development conversations.
  • Employee Engagement and Belonging: drive the adoption and implementation of the employee engagement and diversity, belonging and inclusion strategy. Facilitate relationships with local community partners. Additionally, conduct stay interviews to inform retention strategies.
  • People Operations: together with your team, partner with the Global Compliance team to ensure seamless handoffs so they are set up for success in being able to capture accurate the data changes within our various systems in real time.


Your Experience and Education include:  


  • Degree with a specialized focus in Human Resources (preferred)
  • Proven and progressive global HR experience gained in senior roles gained from either HR Operations and/or HR Business partnering positions
  • Proven leader of Organizational change and successfully lead teams through change.
  • Experienced people and thought leader - able to inspire and coach a direct team
  • Skilled at navigating and influencing a global and matrixed organization
  • Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally, build strong relationships and become a trusted partner to relevant stakeholders
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 20% as needed
