VP, End User Business Development - NAM

 

 Summary

As Vice President, End User Business Development PACS NAM, you will be responsible for setting the End user strategy, aligning the organization with meeting organizational objectives, and leading a large team of End User Business Developers with ultimate accountability for NAM End User revenue targets for controllers, readers, and credentials. Special focus is on penetrating and expanding Mobile Access.

This is a highly collaborative position requiring demonstrated leadership and managerial skills, excellent communication skills, and a thorough understanding of complex, matrix organizations in a regional/global environment.

 

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • PACS NAM End User strategy across key Vertical Markets (Education, Corporate Real Estate, Finance Government, Health Care, Tech), including alignment of team to maximize growth, defining areas of focus, leading team in execution of the strategy, and defining KPIs for measuring overall sales and effectiveness.
  • Accurate forecasting and attainment of PACS NAM revenue on a regular basis.  Accountable to team attainment of over $200M in annual revenue.
  • Lead the effort to define and execute strategy in cooperation and close alignment with Channel and OEM sales, and A&E programs to support the PACS NAM go-to-market.
  • Report to PACS NAM Leadership and PLT regarding overall performance of the PACS NAM End User Business Development, as well as identification of challenges, opportunities, and necessary changes to approach.
  • Provide the subject matter expertise for global partnering models utilizing past experience, ongoing research and understanding of contemporary and competitive partner models and their effectiveness.
  • Provide thought leadership to guide End User development and execution plans that cover traditional products as well as new product launches, with special focus on “Mobile First”.
  • Develop, build and maintain executive level relationships within HID and with our largest PACS NAM Partners.
  • Lead development and management of NAM End User Team Incentive Plans in collaboration with PACS Leadership and the HID Commissions Team.
  • Manage and continue to build a geographically distributed team of at least 15 reports.
  • Deliver excellent day-to-day operational guidance, coaching and career development guidance to PACS NAM End User Team.

  • Proven ability to lead large, distributed teams of at least 15 team members.

  • Excellent project management skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding and experience of the access control market preferred.
  • Deep understanding of end user sales/marketing

 

Education and/or Experience         

  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent) in technology or business-related field.  Advanced business degree (Masters or MBA) is a plus.
  • Experience in the access control and/or security marketplace for a minimum of 15 years.
  • Proven skills in sales and sales manager for security products and solutions.
  • Channel experience and general security industry knowledge including Products, Technical Expertise, Applications, Services, Dealers, & Manufacturers. 
  • Excellent track record in teamwork and customer centricity.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to handle multiple tasks and perform under pressure to meet deadlines and drive programs in a complex matrix organization.

 

Language Skills                  

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical journals, specifications, international technical standards, etc.          
  • Ability to communicate and present effectively over web-based presentations and in face-to-face meetings.
  • Additional languages are a plus        

 

Computer Skills    

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Proficient at using Salesforce.com or other CRM system.
  • Proficient at using Oracle Analytics Cloud or similar financial reporting systems.

Work Requirements

  • Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Up to 50% travel and fieldwork, including international travel is required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
