The Evolis US Operations Supervisor leads Warehouse, Production, and Repair operations to achieve safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory accuracy, and customer-service objectives. This role is accountable for workforce performance, capacity and labor planning, KPI management, continuous improvement, and consistent execution of operating procedures. The Operations Supervisor develops frontline employees and partners with the Operations Manager and cross-functional stakeholders to resolve constraints and improve end-to-end operational performance.

As our US Operations Supervisor, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Leading Warehouse, Production, and Repair teams; establishing daily priorities, staffing plans, schedules, and performance expectations.
  • Owning daily and weekly operating performance against defined safety, quality, delivery, cost, inventory accuracy, productivity, and repair/service KPIs and SLAs.
  • Conducting regular performance reviews with the team, analyzing gaps and root causes, assigning corrective actions, and reporting operating status and risks to the Operations Manager.
  • Planning labor capacity, cross-training, workload balancing, and overtime to meet demand, production schedules, repair commitments, and customer-service requirements.
  • Recruiting, interviewing, selecting, onboarding, coaching, developing, recognizing, and retaining employees; conducting performance evaluations and administering corrective action in accordance with company policy.
  • Coordinating Warehouse, Production, Repair, Procurement, Logistics, Sales, and Customer Service priorities to resolve material constraints, order exceptions, backlogs, and other customer-impacting issues.
  • Ensuring inventory accuracy through transaction discipline, cycle-count execution, reconciliation of discrepancies, and timely escalation of material availability risks.
  • Leading continuous improvement projects that improve safety, quality, productivity, cost, workflow, and inventory accuracy; sustaining gains through standard work and documented controls.
  • Maintaining and improving SOPs, work instructions, training records, and process controls; ensuring personnel are trained and procedures are consistently followed.
  • Leading safety compliance, workplace inspections, incident investigations, corrective actions, and risk-reduction activities in accordance with company policies and applicable requirements.
  • Ensuring operational quality controls, nonconformance containment, corrective actions, and audit readiness across inbound, production, repair, and outbound processes.
  • Managing assigned operating-budget elements, including labor, overtime, supplies, equipment maintenance, and improvement-project spending; identifying and implementing cost-reduction opportunities.
  • Coordinating facility and equipment maintenance priorities to minimize downtime and maintain safe, reliable operations.

 

 

Your Experience and Background include:  

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of warehouse, logistics, manufacturing, repair, or operations leadership experience.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct supervisory experience managing multiple functional teams.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop employees across multiple functional teams.
  • Experience conducting performance reviews, resolving employee relations issues, and administering corrective actions and performance improvement plans.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse, production, repair, inventory-control, and shipping/logistics processes.
  • Experience managing operational KPIs, conducting root-cause analysis, and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, Kaizen, Six Sigma, or similar process-improvement methods.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems and relevant reporting tools; Infor M3 knowledge is a plus.
  • Knowledge of LTL, FTL, parcel shipping, freight compliance, and carrier requirements.
  • Ability to plan labor, prioritize competing work, manage budgets or operating costs, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of workplace safety requirements and quality-system practices; forklift certification or ability to obtain certification is required.
