The Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for ensuring the proper accounting for revenue and royalty transactions, participating in close and preparing account reconciliations.  Additionally, this role will participate in process improvement and financial system implementation projects as needed. 


As our Sr. Accountant, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Preparing and maintaining monthly deferred revenue schedules, royalty reporting, and rebate accounting
  • Preparing assigned reconciliations in accordance with policy
  • Liaison for global lease accounting
  • Reviewing transactions to ensure compliance with accounting policies and procedures, as required
  • Using analytical skills to understand and document the root cause of variances
  • Participating in 2-day month-end closing process
  • Assisting with Reconciliation Review process
  • Assisting in preparation of Audit schedules
  • Working with team members to address various accounting issues
  • Participating in acquisition integration into the financial systems
  • Supporting recurring revenue initiatives and integration into financial systems
  • Understanding the internal legacy computer systems (Oracle, Hyperion Financial Management and OAC); in order to retrieve historical data, including downloads of data into Excel or other applications.
  • Preparing other special projects as needed

What we will love about your background:


  • Experience with IFRS 15 (ASC 606) and IFRS 16 (ASC 842) preferred (International Financial Reporting Standards)
  • Experience with accounting for the full order-to-cash cycle
  • Strong ability to interpret and apply sales contract terms
  • Royalty Accounting experience a plus
  • Ability to work independently and take ownership of multiple concurrent and diversified tasks, while working with deadlines
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills
  • Relationship builder who prefers a collaborative work environment and is a comfortable communicator
  • Must be organized and open minded in evaluating solutions to problems
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with English as primary language


Your Experience and Education include:

  • BS in Accounting or related field
  • Ideal candidate would have 3 plus years of experience in a similar role
