HID’s Biometric Product and Solutions team: 

HID’s Biometric Business Unit is responsible for new development and P/L of existing products within HID’s biometric businesses. The Product and Solutions team drives projects from customer inputs through end-of-life, supporting the full product lifecycle.


As our Senior Program Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by: 

  • Managing cross-functional teams to create and successfully release new products into the market
  • Drive and manage HID New Product Innovation (NPI) process which includes waterfall gate processes and Agile principles
  • Collaborating with Product Management, Product Marketing, Engineering, Operations and Compliance for requirement definitions through product release
  • Identifying process improvements (technical or organizational)
  • Suggesting and implementing solutions, identifying critical paths, and facilitating resolution to roadblocks
  • Executing a communication plan for project team members and senior management


What we will love about your background: 

  • Understanding of computing system architectures and toolchains
  • Experience with electro-mechanical fabrication process (PCB fabrication, surface mount, 3D printing, tooling) 
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Scrum Master certification or formal Agile (SAFe) certification
  • Familiarity with operating systems, such as Windows, etc. and be comfortable interfacing with API/SDK’s
  • Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence and Microsoft Teams


Your Experience and Education include:             

  • Agile or Project Management formal training
  • Hands-on experience with computer programming or electrical hardware
  • A Bachelor’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering. Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience working in a project or program management role delivering electronic hardware and software products
