HID’s Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) Department:
This position is key a part of the PACS central marketing and communications department and will report into the Vice President, Marketing Communications, PACS. The goal of the PACS business area is to accelerate their market potential and to take it to the next level of profitable growth. The goal of this team is to drive cohesive marketing communications campaigns that champion PACS’s market position, establish thought leadership, and engage, and move audiences to purchase solutions. This position will be responsible for managing a wide variety of marketing activities for PACS.
As our Senior Marketing Communications Manager, you’ll support HID’s success by:
- Coordinating campaign rollouts among regional teams, monitoring, tracking, and reporting marketing KPIs aligned with the businesses’ goals
- Supporting and overseeing marketing communications activities from planning to completion – setting goals and timelines and implementing programs and projects to raise brand awareness and interest
- Driving global content within the company’s marketing campaign framework and proactively working with internal subject matter experts to identify strategic content approaches
- Incorporating HID’s move from product to solution-oriented messaging and an end-user focus into all content marketing activities globally
- Developing and delivering content that is relevant, timely and impactful at each stage of the customer decision journey in the relevant communications channels
- Reviewing marketing content to ensure a consistency in brand and tone in alignment with corporate guidelines
- Liaising with internal and external parties, building positive relationships

- Experience working with and building strong relationships with internal subject matter experts, external agencies, and 3rd party vendors, with responsibility for budgets and achieving global campaign marketing objectives
- Experience in business-to-business (B2B) preferred
- Experience in technology content marketing campaigns
- Exceptional communication skills, quick thinking, and the ability to work well under pressure and tight deadlines
- Willingness to ‘roll up your sleeves and dive deep into tactical work when necessary
- Good interpersonal skills, willingness to learn and continue to grow professionally
- Strong team player and ability to work well with others
- You will work closely with all levels of the organization, but particular attention will be given to product management and regional marketing

Your Experience and Education include:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in marketing, communications, journalism, or marketing discipline preferred or equivalent experience
- 7 plus years of progressive marketing experience desired
- Must have experience in marketing strategy
- Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc
- Familiar with MarTech Tools such as SalesForce, Marketo, etc
- Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems
- Travel between 10-20%. travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired
The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The base salary in the California area is $150,000 to $166,000.
